We’re looking for a proactive and organised European Transport Coordinator to join a busy and growing logistics operation based in Dartford.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in international transport, freight forwarding or import/export operations who enjoys building relationships and keeping freight moving efficiently across Europe.
The Role
* Coordinate and allocate work to subcontractor drivers across the Benelux and Italy regions
* Manage import/export transport movements efficiently and cost-effectively
* Build strong working relationships with hauliers and transport partners
* Source and sell return loads to maximise vehicle utilisation
* Liaise daily with customers, subcontractors, and distributors
* Resolve transport and operational issues quickly and professionally
About You
* Previous experience within transport, logistics, freight forwarding or import/export
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Highly organised with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Confident managing subcontractors and transport partners
* European transport knowledge would be highly advantageous
