Events Chef - seasonal role

Events Chef, required to join a small team of 3, working out from Bishop’s Stortford which offers catering off-site on a week-end to festivals (Saturday and Sunday), starting from the end of May through to September 2026, at various venues throughout the UK. The work entails working on site in Bishops Stortford on a Friday, then leaving very early on a Saturday morning to arrive at a venue in the UK, to set up and work for both a Saturday all day and a Sunday all day. You will head home on a Sunday evening. As an Events Chef, you will support the main Chef, focusing on the food and kitchen operations offering, a street food stand. If you enjoy a varied lifestyle for this summer season this role could be for you, along with a passion for cooking and love true good food and BBQ, we would love to hear from you. Benefits / Details: * Up to £250/day, for a Saturday and Sunday * Accommodation on site on a Saturday night in a pop-up tent Requirements for the Events Chef role: You do need to be a driver and be over 25 years old, to drive a refrigerated van when required to do so to get to and from a festival You do also need to have held a car driving licence for 5 years Live local to Bishops Stortford, as this is the base from and to the events Be available to assist with some food prep work on a Friday Be able to leave Bishops Stortford very early on a Saturday morning, to drive to a venue / festival, which can be throughout the UK (dates will be available for the locations).
