Experimental Physicist (PhD or MPhys or Msc)

We are seeking a highly motivated Experimental Physicist to join a design and development team. The ideal candidate will hold a PhD or MPhys in Physics coupled with excellent A level results and have strong practical experience in experimental techniques gained either from academia or industry. Experience in magnetics, superconductivity, or related fields would be highly advantageous, though candidates with a strong experimental background in other areas of physics are also encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities * Design, build, and conduct physics experiments. * Analyse experimental data and interpret results. * Develop and improve experimental apparatus and measurement techniques. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance research objectives. Essential Requirements * PhD or MPhys 1st Class/2.1 in Physics or a closely related discipline. * Strong experimental skills and familiarity with laboratory equipment. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Desirable Skills * Experience with magnetic systems, superconducting materials, or vacum systems. * Knowledge of instrumentation, sensors, or precision measurement
