Full-Time EYFS Teaching Assistant | Blackpool Academy | April 2026 Are you a Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner looking for a stable, full-time role? Blackpool Academy is seeking a high-energy EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our nursery setting. This is a Full-Time temporary contract starting ASAP through to April 2026. Role Overview: Consistency & Stability To provide our 3 and 4-year-old children with the essential consistency they need to thrive and feel secure, this role offers a reliable, set daily schedule. Hours: 08:30 - 15:30 Days: Monday - Friday (Full-Time 32.5 hours per week) Status: Term Time Only, temporary contract Location: Blackpool Academy Contract: Immediate - April 2026 with potential to extend till July. The Role: Inspiring 3 & 4-Year-Olds We need a "ready-to-go" educator who enjoys the routine of a structured nursery day. You will lead small group activities, maintain high-quality care, and ensure the setting meets all staff-to-child ratios. We are looking for a character who is: Qualified: Must hold an EYFS qualification (L2/3 CACHE or NVQ). Reliable: Able to commit to our set school hours to provide a stable environment for our learners. Enthusiastic: Someone who brings stories and games to life with a "can-do" attitude. Imaginative: Capable of turning a cardboard box into a rocket ship and following a child's creative lead. Our Curriculum & Setting At Blackpool Academy, we blend play with purposeful learning. You will be actively involved in: Talk for Writing: Using imitation and story mapping to help children "learn" stories.
