Role Overview - EYFS Teaching Assistant
The successful EYFS Teaching Assistant will support children within the EYFS setting, helping to create a safe, engaging and stimulating environment. The EYFS Teaching Assistant will work closely with teachers to support learning through play-based activities.
The EYFS Teaching Assistant will play a key role in supporting early development, ensuring children build confidence, communication skills and a love for learning.
Responsibilities of the EYFS Teaching Assistant
Supporting children as an EYFS Teaching Assistant in daily activities and routines
Assisting with EYFS-based learning and play activities
Encouraging social, emotional and communication development
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis where needed
Maintaining a safe and engaging environment as an EYFS Teaching AssistantRequirements for the EYFS Teaching Assistant
Experience working as an EYFS Teaching Assistant or in early years settings
Understanding of the EYFS framework
A caring, patient and energetic approach

Competitive daily rate of £85.50 - £110 per day
