APT Education, a trusted, local Primary specialist, is recruiting a full‑time EYFS Teaching Assistant for a warm, supportive primary school in Milton Keynes. This long‑term role begins October Half Term and offers a genuine temp‑to‑perm opportunity for the right person.
We are looking for someone with experience supporting children in Nursery or Reception, with a nurturing, patient approach and confidence supporting early development, phonics, play‑based learning and communication skills.
⭐ The Role
You will support children with:
*
Early phonics
*
Speech, language & communication
*
Social and emotional development
*
Play‑based learning
*
Small‑group and 1:1 activities
Daily responsibilities include:
*
Supporting the class teacher
*
Leading small‑group learning
*
Helping with routines, transitions and behaviour
*
Creating a warm, safe, engaging EYFS environment
*
Following early development plans

Experience in EYFS, Nursery or Reception
*
Warm, nurturing personality
*
Confident supporting early learning and communication
*
Available full time, Monday–Friday, 8:30–3:30

DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
