Due to a recent demand from our partner schools, we are currently recruiting for a full-time EYFS teaching assistant to work within our schools in the South Staffordshire (Stafford/Stone) region. You'll be working on a full-time supply basis in a very rewarding role supporting a welcoming and nurturing EYFS school environment.
Working through a trusted and reputable supply agency, you will have the opportunity to work within schools on a long term, full-time supply basis. You'll be helping to support the class teacher, support and tailor learning to children who may require it and foster a safe, nurturing learning environment.
The role includes:
📚Working alongside the EYFS class teacher to assist in delivering fun and engaging activities across the EYFS curriculum.
📚Work with individuals, small groups and whole classes. Helping children develop their skills and confidence.
📚Providing weekly PPA cover and lesson cover when required; leading pre-planned activities and having full classroom responsibilities.
📚Utilise both indoor and outdoor learning space for learning and activities.
What we are looking for:
⭐An experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant who shares a passion and drive for supporting pupils in the younger years of the primary age range.
⭐Holds NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants (essential).
⭐Confidence in leading activities and taking responsibility for a class when providing cover.
⭐Has a genuine passion and interest in supporting pupils' academic and personal development.
⭐Somebody who is able to adapt and learn quickly whilst settling into a new school environment. You must be patient, hardworking and enthusiastic!
⭐You will be working on a temporary basis, supporting one of our partner schools in Stafford/Stone.
Pay: £93 - £110 a day (dependent on experience) holiday pay is included in the day rate.
