An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Façade Engineer to join an established consultancy team based in Glasgow. This role is suited to an engineer with a strong consultancy background who is looking to play a key role in strengthening the team while delivering high-quality façade engineering solutions across a diverse project portfolio.
The Role
You will work alongside experienced façade specialists, taking a key role in design delivery, technical reviews, and client engagement across a wide range of projects, including both new build and remediation schemes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead façade design, analysis, and technical detailing
Deliver reports, specifications, and compliance reviews
Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors across project stages
Requirements
Proven façade engineering experience within a consultancy environment
Strong knowledge of façade systems, cladding, and building envelope performance
Good understanding of UK building regulations and compliance requirements
Desirable
Chartered or working towards chartership
Experience leading projects or managing client relationships
Background in façade remediation or external wall assessments
