Façade Engineer Location: Bristol Sector: Building Consultancy / Façade Engineering An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Façade Engineer to join a growing consultancy team based in Bristol. This role is suited to an engineer with 3–4 years’ experience who is looking to strengthen their career within a consultancy-led environment. The Role You will work alongside experienced façade specialists, contributing to design reviews, compliance assessments, and Gateway-related submissions across a diverse portfolio of projects. Key Responsibilities Carry out façade design analysis and technical detailing Support Gateway documentation and compliance reviews Conduct façade condition surveys and prepare technical reports Liaise with architects, contractors, and project stakeholders Ensure designs meet current UK building regulations and safety standards Requirements 3–4 years’ experience within façade engineering Background in consultancy or experience working on Gateway projects Strong understanding of façade systems, cladding, and envelope performance Familiarity with UK regulatory requirements Strong written and verbal communication skills Desirable Architectural or design-based academic or professional background Strong interest in developing within a consultancy environment Analytical and detail-oriented approach What’s On Offer Opportunity to grow within a reputable consultancy environment Exposure to varied and technically engaging projects Professional development and long-term career prospects
