Facilities Handyperson

Handyman - Job Specification (Educational Campus) Contract: Ongoing Temporary Hours: Full-Time Location: Onsite Role Purpose Provide general maintenance and manual handling support across the campus to help maintain a safe, functional, and tidy environment. Key Responsibilities Move, lift, and arrange furniture and equipment safely. Install and fix noticeboards, whiteboards, shelves, and door signs. Carry out basic repairs and DIY tasks (e.g., minor carpentry, assembling furniture). Support classroom, office, and event setups. Report maintenance issues and follow health and safety procedures. Skills & Experience Practical experience in general maintenance/handyman work. Confident using basic tools and carrying out DIY tasks. Physically able to lift and move items safely. Organised, reliable, and able to work independently. Good communication and customer service skills. Desirable Experience working in a school or educational environment.
