Facilities Manager Location: Stratford, East London Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 Bonus: 10% The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Facilities Manager to join the Centre Management team at a high-profile shopping mall in Stratford, East London. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role where you will take full responsibility for hard services, contractor performance, compliance, sustainability initiatives, and budget management. You’ll play a crucial part in maintaining the asset’s premium standard while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement. The Role As Facilities Manager, you will: Lead and manage hard services contractors, ensuring exceptional service delivery Oversee Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programmes Conduct regular inspections and ensure high-quality workmanship Manage contracts, tender processes, and service level agreements Take ownership of health & safety compliance, CDM regulations, and audit readiness Manage budgets, forecasts, and service charge expenditure Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives Drive sustainability strategies and environmental best practice Deputise for the Senior Facilities Manager when required Provide leadership and support to the wider facilities team  About You We’re looking for a commercially minded, technically strong facilities professional with: Proven experience in Facilities Management within a complex commercial or retail environment Strong contract management and procurement experience Excellent knowledge of health & safety legislation and compliance requirements Demonstrable experience managing budgets and driving value Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills Solid understanding of building services and mechanical systemsQualifications: NEBOSH or IOSH (essential) M&E experience (desirable) Legionella awareness/training Relevant professional accreditations  Why Apply?
