Facilities Technician

Facilities Technician Location: Sunderland Hours: Mon–Thurs 7:00–15:15, Fri 7:00–14:45 Salary: £40,000 per annum Permanent Staff position Joining a leading manufacturing site, you will help keep the plant running smoothly — maintaining equipment, managing contractors, and ensuring everything from boilers to lighting stays in excellent condition. What you’ll do: * Carry out planned maintenance on boilers, compressors, air systems, and HVAC units * Look after lighting, doors, and general building repairs * Support fire, sprinkler, and safety systems testing * Ensure water and air systems meet safety and legal standards * Work with contractors to keep essential services up and running What we’re looking for: * Mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience * City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) * Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach * Experience maintaining a manufacturing facility To be considered for this role click “apply” and submit a copy of your up to date CV
