Apply NowA&G Resourcing Ltd is recruiting a Factory Operative for our client based just outside Reading. This role supports the production of high-quality timber packaging used across various industries.
This position is within the timber/wood section, so previous experience working with wood is essential.
Own transport is ideal due to the location.
Factory Operative – Temp to Perm (for the right candidate)
Location: Outskirts of Reading
Pay: £13.00/hour (increase after 3-month probation)
Overtime: £19.50/hour
Start: Immediate
Hours:
* Mon–Thurs: 08:00–16:30
* Fri: 08:00–15:30
Main Duties:
* Assist with daily timber packaging and manufacturing operations
* Work with wood and timber materials
* Operate and maintain machinery (full training provided)
* Cut, assemble, and handle timber products
* Manage stock and incoming materials
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
* Follow all health & safety procedures
Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience working with wood/timber (essential)
* Experience in a manufacturing or factory environment
* Good attention to detail
* Machine operation or DIY/carpentry skills are advantageous
* Reliable, hands-on, and willing to learn
