Factory Operative

engineering company specialising in fine-limit sheet metal fabrication. We supply high-quality products and expert design support to a wide range of industries. We are looking for a reliable and motivated General Operative to join our sheet metal manufacturing team. This is a hands-on, practical role where you'll support various stages of the production process, including handling metal parts, operating machinery, and assisting with day-to-day tasks. Full training will be provided, and there are opportunities to learn new skills and grow within the company. Key Responsibilities: Carry out regular manual handling and heavy lifting tasks. Operate machinery and tools safely. Assist with general assembly and production work. Use a range of hand and power tools such as drills, sanders, and grinders. Supporting general factory operations.Essential Requirements: Comfortable with practical, hands-on work in a workshop environment. A positive team player with a strong work ethic. Good attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions. Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
