Job Overview:

Oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing plant, ensuring that production schedules are met, and quality standards are maintained. Monitor production processes and implement cost-effective strategies. Maintaining a safe working environment, managing staff, and continuously improving production efficiency. This position is crucial for the smooth operation and profitability of the plant.

Specific Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

* Oversee daily factory operations and production processes.

* Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.

* Coordinate with different departments to streamline production.

* Manage factory staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

* Implement cost-effective production strategies.

* Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment.

* Develop and enforce factory policies and procedures.

* Resolve and issues or conflicts that arise within the factory.

* Maintain accurate production records and reports.

* Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.

* Implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives.

* Ensure compliance with environmental and health regulations.

* Provide leadership and direction to improve overall factory performance.

* Undertake development of both shift leaders.

Personal Profile:

* Proven experience in a busy manufacturing factory environment, with strong knowledge of daily production, workflow, machinery, materials, and shop-floor priorities.

* Demonstrable experience supervising factory teams to meet production schedules while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standards.

* Confident monitoring production processes, resolving issues quickly, reducing downtime, and keeping operations running smoothly.

* Strong understanding of factory health and safety, housekeeping, equipment care, inspections, and compliance with company procedures.

* Experienced in training, motivating, and managing production staff to improve performance, teamwork, and accountability.

* Quality-focused, with experience maintaining accurate records, checking product standards, and supporting continuous improvement across factory operations.
