Family Paralegal / Fee Earner
The Role
The successful candidate will support solicitors in progressing legally aided family matters, primarily involving children law cases.
Key Responsibilities
Taking client instructions and preparing statements
Liaising with courts, counsel, experts and external agencies
Drafting applications, court orders and preparing briefs to counsel
Managing court timetables, hearings and appointments
Preparing legal aid applications and maintaining file compliance
Updating bundles and progressing matters through effective correspondence
About You
Minimum 2 years' experience within a family law department
Experience supporting public children/care proceedings
Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage a busy workload
Able to work independently as well as part of a team
