Family Solicitor
Our client is seeking a Family Solicitor to join their growing team in Romford, East London. The team handles a broad range of family law matters, including representing parents, family members, and children in care proceedings and private family proceedings. The Role This is a busy and varied position, ideal for a proactive individual who can manage their own caseload with minimal supervision. You will work collaboratively within an experienced and supportive team, providing high-quality legal advice and advocacy to clients while maintaining resilience and focus under pressure. Key Responsibilities • Provide expert family law advice to clients across a range of private and care proceedings • Manage a caseload independently, ensuring deadlines are met • Deliver exceptional client care with clear and professional communication • Draft legal documents, correspondence, and submissions accurately and efficiently • Contribute to business development and marketing initiatives, meeting agreed fee targets • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth case progression and knowledge sharing The Candidate • Qualified solicitor with minimum 1+ year PQE in family law • Proven ability to manage own caseload and deliver results under pressure • Strong advocacy, drafting, and technical legal skills • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills • Confident in client-facing roles and able to provide authoritative legal advice • Strong IT literacy and familiarity with relevant case management systems • Commercial awareness and ability to contribute to business development Benefits • Supportive team environment with genuine opportunities for progression • Exposure to complex and varied family law matters Should you have any questions or wish to apply please do not hesitate to contact Clear Legal Recruitment Limited.
