Female Complex Care HCA – Tracheostomy & PEG

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Healthcare Assistant to support a 19-year-old client within a 1:1 complex care package in Harrow. The client is mobile and independent but requires clinical support for tracheostomy and PEG care. Shift Pattern * Monday: 10:00 – 18:00 * Wednesday: 08:00 – 18:00 * Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00 * Friday: 10:00 – 17:00 Consistent weekly hours available. Clinical Requirements (Essential) * Tracheostomy care (tube management & suctioning) * PEG feeding * Vital signs monitoring * Medication administration * Moving & handling * Early recognition of deterioration * Strong communication skills Equipment Used * Tracheostomy tube * Suction catheter * Velcro ties & trachy holder * Round-ended scissors Candidates must be confident and competent working with tracheostomy equipment independently. Candidate Requirements * Minimum 1 year complex care experience * Confident in tracheostomy management * Experience with PEG feeding * Ability to work independently in a 1:1 environment * Professional, reliable, and proactive This is a stable and rewarding role supporting a young adult within their home environment.
