Field Sales Representative
The Field Sales Representative promotes and supports the use of smart shopping carts in grocery stores. On a typical day, you’ll engage shoppers, demonstrate how the cart works (automatic item recognition, weighed produce, and self‑checkout), encourage adoption, and assist customers with questions or issues while they shop.
This is a highly customer‑facing role that requires an outgoing, confident personality and comfort engaging strangers in a busy retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively approach in‑store customers and introduce them to the smart cart.
* Demonstrate key features, including produce weighing, item recognition, and checkout.
* Encourage customers to try the smart cart and support them while it’s in use.
* Address basic questions or issues during the shopping experience.
* Act as an brand ambassador within the store.
* Work toward daily and weekly smart cart adoption targets.
* Provide simple feedback on customer reactions, usage issues, and adoption barriers.
Required Experience & Skills
* Experience in direct customer engagement, sales, or retail (field sales, brand promotion, or similar).
* Comfortable approaching and speaking with customers in person.
* Confident using basic technology and demonstrating new tools.
* Able to troubleshoot simple user issues.
* Willing to work Thursday–Monday, including weekends.
