Field Service Engineer (Coffee)
Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer specialising in coffee equipment? Do you have hands-on experience with bean-to-cup machines and a passion for delivering high-quality service to clients? We are recruiting a Field Service Engineer to cover the North-East region and occasionally up to Scotland. The Role This is a field-based role with a focus on coffee equipment. You will install, maintain, and repair bean-to-cup machines and other coffee systems, ensuring excellent service for all clients. You’ll be supported during training and expected to work independently once confident in your skills. Key Responsibilities: * Service, maintain, and repair bean-to-cup coffee machines and related equipment * Use company systems to log work, track tasks, and record service notes accurately * Travel within the North-East region and occasionally up to Scotland * Maintain excellent customer service, acting as the professional face of the company * Follow all health, safety, and quality procedures on-site * Participate in ongoing training and professional development About You: * Essential: Hands-on experience with coffee machines, especially bean-to-cup systems * Exposure to brands such as Coffetek or similar is highly desirable * Proven field service experience, ideally in engineering, mechanical, or electrical systems * Confident working independently and troubleshooting on-site * Strong organisational and time-management skills * Excellent communication skills and a professional, friendly attitude * Flexible approach with the willingness to travel within your area Why This Role? * Salary of £32,000 - £35,000/Annum * Overtime paid after 40 hours at 1.5x rate * Working for a manufacturer so always have spares available and provide a great customer experience * Fantastic training and progression opportunities * Company van provided * Rare stay-away work – mostly local travel * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (rising with service, plus Christmas closure) * Friendly, supportive team with excellent staff retention Due to the high volume of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
