Field Service Engineer

AR833 - Field Service Engineer Location: Neasden Salary: £37,500 - £48,000 Overview: First Military Recruitment are searching for a Field Service Engineer to join our client, a leading provider of commercial laundry and catering equipment solutions. With over 50 years of industry experience, the company offers a full-service package, including equipment supply, installation, maintenance, and repair across a wide range of sectors from hospitality and healthcare to sports and private landlords. This is a field-based role covering London and the South East. You’ll be joining a professional and expanding service team, acting as a key ambassador by delivering a high standard of service and support to clients. Our client strongly encourages applications from ex-military personnel but all applications will be considered. Duties and Responsibilities: Attend service calls to diagnose, repair, and report on faults with commercial laundry and catering equipment Identify and report on equipment and installation conditions, making recommendations where appropriate Carry out commissioning checks on installed equipment Perform basic installations of laundry machines, chemical dosing, and ozone systems Recondition and test ex-rental equipment for redeployment Conduct routine maintenance visits as required Maintain van stock and accurately update the Salesforce inventory system Skills and Qualifications: Mechanical and electrical engineering experience (Gas Safe qualification preferred but not essential) Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills Good verbal and written communication skills Professional and personable manner when dealing with customers Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in workmanship Full UK driving licence (clean) Location: Neasden Salary: £37,500 - £48,000
