Roel Overview
As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for a broad range of core financial activities, including payroll processing, month-end close, and quarterly balance sheet reviews across multiple entities.
You will work closely with both the outsourced finance team and the UK-based team to prioritise deliverables and establish a robust, efficient month-end process. The role also involves supporting the Finance Controller and CFO on ad hoc projects, while ensuring all deadlines are consistently met.
This position requires a collaborative and adaptable team player who is willing to support across a variety of tasks to help the team achieve its objectives.
The role is well suited to an ambitious individual looking to deepen their financial expertise within a fast-growing mobile advertising business. There is significant opportunity to drive improvements, enhance efficiency, and reduce manual processes, as well as to propose and lead transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Ownership of the Balance Sheet and cashflow monthly management accounts reporting for the EMEA and US business.
• Ownership of all statutory filings including VAT returns and ensuring the timely submission of all documents required by a Limited Liability company.
• Process monthly payroll submissions for the UK, US and France, including our EOR employees.
• Monitoring the retained earnings of all subsidiaries to ensure cash is moved on a timely basis.
• Review of Fixed Asset registers for all global entities.
• Provide regular actionable feedback to the outsourced finance team to help enhance their output and performance.
• Lead initiatives to reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and improve cash flow performance.
• Support the FC in implementing accurate cashflow forecasting for each Mobkoi Company.
Key Skills & Competencies
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of UK financial regulations and reporting standards
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with finance systems/ERP
• Commercially minded finance professional with an intuitive grasp of business economics and commercial strategy
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to balance a number of conflicting priorities simultaneously
• Curious with an ability to solve problems
• An excellent communicator, including clear, imaginative and persuasive presentation and influencing skills
• An independent-minded individual with an energetic and collaborative disposition
