Finance Manager
Greater Manchester (Hybrid Working)

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Finance Manager to lead a busy Accounts Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven finance professional to take ownership of financial operations, manage a small team, and play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting. This is a hands-on role that combines leadership with operational accounting responsibilities . The role will be working Mon-Fri 9-5.30 on a hybrid basis and offers a salary up to £43,500.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the Accounts team to ensure accurate monthly management accounts are produced within agreed deadlines

Lead, train, and develop team members to achieve departmental objectives

Ensure timely collection of debts in line with agreed terms

Oversee creditor payments, ensuring adherence to payment schedules

Take full ownership of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Lead the annual audit process, working closely with the CFO

Liaise with senior stakeholders, directors, and external suppliers to maintain high service standards

Work closely with external auditors to ensure compliance with legal and accounting requirements

Experience Required:

Accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or equivalent experience

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

Minimum 2 years’ experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or a similar system

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong numerical and analytical ability

Proficient in IT systems, including Microsoft Excel

Strong cash flow management and control

Timely production of monthly and annual accounts
