Our client is a specialist import and export provider based just outside Haywards Heath. They currently seek a standalone Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations across a group of companies.
Responsibilities include day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting, month end and year end processes, payroll, VAT returns, and year end audit preparation.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
* Experience and understanding of multi-currency accounting
* VAT and CT61 knowledge
* Month End, Year End and Audit experience
* Experience of accounting software (ideally QuickBooks) and advanced Excel Skills
* Excellent communication skills
In return a salary of 40k-42k is provided depending upon experience. Due to office location, a full UK driving license and own transport is essential.
