Finance Officer
The Finance Officer Role:
Maintain and reconcile rent and service charge records, ensuring accuracy at all times
Monitoring accounts, identifying arrears, overpayments and discrepancies
Carry out credit control activities including arrears reporting and repayment plans
Process financial transactions, journals and maintain supporting records and reconciliations
Prepare reports, dashboards and support KPI monitoring
Manage shared inbox and respond to queries, supporting managers with financial information
Assist with month-end, year-end and audit processes, providing wider team support The Ideal Finance Officer Candidate:
Previous experience within a similar position
Strong knowledge of accounting principles
Previous experience within a housing or local authority environment is advantageous
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Flexible, proactive and willing to support different departments as required Benefits:
