A varied role covering ledgers, reconciliations, payments and month-endIn this Financial Ledger position, you will be:
Maintaining accurate financial records and nominal coding
Completing daily bank reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
Processing supplier invoices, purchase orders and credit notes
Supporting weekly payment runs and month-end processes
Managing supplier and customer accounts and Direct Debits
Completing aged debtor, creditor and supplier statement reconciliations
Using Excel to analyse and reconcile financial information
Managing finance queries and resolving payment issues
Maintaining petty cash and processing credit card transactions
Handling confidential financial information appropriately
Supporting the wider Finance team with ad-hoc dutiesI'd love to speak to someone who has:
AAT Level 4 or equivalent technical knowledge
Previous finance or accounts experience
A good understanding of accounting principles
Strong numerical, analytical and reconciliation skills
Excellent attention to detail
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Experience with finance systems, ideally Clear Books and Sage Intacct
The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
Social housing or housing association experience would be desirable
