Finishing Manager

Job Title: Finishing Manager Location: Manchester – Near Old Trafford Cricket Ground Project: Flagship New Build Residential Development (74 Apartments) About the Role We are seeking an experienced Finishing Manager to join a flagship residential development in Manchester, located close to Old Trafford Cricket Ground. The project consists of 74 high-quality new-build apartments comprising a mix of 1, 2, and 3-bed units. You will be responsible for managing the final stages of construction through to handover, ensuring all finishing works are completed to a high standard. This role requires strong coordination with site teams and subcontractors to close out snagging, manage final fix works, and deliver apartments ready for client handover. Key Responsibilities * Manage and oversee all finishing works across 74 residential apartments * Coordinate subcontractors and trades to ensure timely completion of final fix activities * Lead and manage the snagging and de-snagging process * Ensure all apartments meet quality standards and specifications prior to handover * Track and manage defects using Fieldview * Work closely with the Site Manager and project team to maintain programme deadlines * Ensure a clean, organised, and safe working environment * Assist with handover documentation and final inspections Requirements * Proven experience as a Finishing Manager or Assistant Site Manager on residential projects * Experience delivering high-quality apartment developments * Strong snagging and quality control experience * Proficiency using Fieldview for defect management * Valid CSCS Card * SMSTS certification * First Aid (preferred) * Excellent communication and coordination skills when working with multiple trades What We Offer * Opportunity to work on a flagship Manchester residential development * Key role in delivering a high-quality apartment scheme * Collaborative and professional site team environment * Competitive day rate / salary depending on experience Start Date: Immediate / As Soon As Possible If you have strong finishing experience on residential schemes and a keen eye for quality, we would like to hear from you
