About the Role
A well-established and fast-growing fire safety specialist is looking to appoint an experienced Fire Alarm Service & Installation Engineer to join their expanding engineering team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fire alarm engineer seeking long-term stability, varied work across London and the Southeast, and strong earning potential within a supportive and professional business.
You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, installation, and commissioning of fire safety systems across a wide range of commercial and residential sites.
Key Responsibilities
Service and maintain fire alarm systems and associated fire safety equipment
Attend reactive callouts to diagnose faults and carry out repairs
Install and commission new fire alarm systems
Complete accurate digital service reports and recommendations
Participate in a call-out rota (approximately 1 in 6 weeks)
Ensure all work is completed in line with current health & safety standardsAbout You
Essential:
Minimum 4 years' experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer
Strong background in fire alarm servicing, maintenance, and installation
Confident completing reports using tablets or mobile devices
Professional, reliable, and proactive approach
Strong communication and customer-facing skills
Full UK driving licenceDesirable:
Experience with emergency lighting and fire extinguishers
Knowledge of multiple fire alarm systems
Experience in commercial environmentsWhat's on Offer
£35,000 - £45,000 DOE + overtime opportunities
