Alecto Recruitment is looking to hear from experienced Fire & Security Engineers based in Preston and looking for a local position.
You'll be working entirely within a 30-mile radius of Preston. That's right - no 5am starts, no three-hour motorway commutes, no waking up in a Travelodge car park wondering which county you're in.
What You Get
Local work - 20 miles, not 200.
1 in 4 call-out - genuinely fair, not "1 in 4 on paper, 1 in 1 in reality".
Company van, tools, and phone.
A privately owned company where you're a person, not a payroll number.What You'll Be Doing
Installing and maintaining fire alarm and security systems for a great mix of local commercial clients.
Diagnosing faults within a team of knowledgeable and experienced engineers.
Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance.
Taking your turn on the call-out rota - 1 in 4, so you get your life back the other three weekends.What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who has worked on Kentec, Gent or Morley. This is what you will be working on daily
Solid experience in fire alarm and/or security system installation and maintenance.
Relevant qualifications (FIA, BAFE, or equivalent)
A full UK driving licence
