Apply NowAn established passive fire protection contractor is looking for an experienced Fire Door Carpenter to work across projects throughout the Midlands on a self-employed basis.
The company specialises in fire doors, firestopping and compartmentation, delivering works across residential, commercial, healthcare, education and social housing projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, repair and maintain fire-rated doors.
* Complete fire door installation, remediation and replacement works.
* Install and adjust ironmongery including hinges, closers, locks and handles.
* Ensure all works are completed to the required quality and compliance standards.
* Complete site documentation and photographic records where required.
* Liaise with Supervisors and Project Managers to ensure works are delivered efficiently.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Fire Door Carpenter/Installer.
* Strong knowledge of fire door installation and remedial works.
* NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry & Joinery or equivalent.
* CSCS card.
* Experience across residential, commercial, healthcare or social housing projects advantageous.
Package
* £220 per day.
* Self-employed/CIS basis.
* Consistent project pipeline.
* Long-term opportunity with an established contractor.
