Apply NowAn established passive fire protection contractor is looking for an experienced Fire Stopper to work across projects throughout the Midlands on a self-employed basis.
The company specialises in firestopping, compartmentation and fire doors, delivering works across residential, commercial, healthcare, education and social housing projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Install firestopping systems in line with manufacturer specifications and project requirements.
* Complete penetration sealing, cavity barriers and compartmentation works.
* Work with a range of firestopping products and systems.
* Ensure all works are completed to the required quality and compliance standards.
* Complete site documentation and photographic records where required.
* Liaise with Supervisors and Project Managers to ensure works are delivered efficiently.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Fire Stopper/Passive Fire Installer.
* Strong knowledge of firestopping and compartmentation.
* NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection or equivalent.
* CSCS card.
* Experience across residential, commercial, healthcare or social housing projects advantageous.
Package
* £220 per day.
* Self-employed/CIS basis.
* Consistent project pipeline.
* Long-term opportunity with an established contractor.
