Job Description:
I’m currently recruiting for a Flavour Laboratory Technician to join a growing food manufacturing business in North Somerset.
This is a hands-on opportunity within an R&D laboratory, supporting the preparation and development of flavour samples for customers across the UK and European food markets.
The role includes:
* Preparing and compounding flavour samples
* Managing raw materials and laboratory consumables
* Preparing labels and documentation for sample despatch
* Working to GMP, quality and safety standards
* Supporting the wider R&D team in a fast-paced environment
The ideal candidate will have:
* Laboratory, kitchen, food manufacturing or similar practical experience
* Strong attention to detail and organisation
* Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel
* A flexible, proactive approach
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
We’re particularly looking for someone who demonstrates:
* Strong teamwork and collaboration
* Confidence in a practical working environment
* Ownership and accountability for their work
* Excellent organisation and time management
* A positive, hands-on approach
Location: Somerset
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday
Benefits: 5 weeks' holiday + bank holidays, pension, healthcare, employee benefits scheme.
