Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Floop Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Dudley This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual looking to secure a temp-to-perm position within a fast-paced production environment. Job Details Location: Dudley Pay Rate: £12.58 per hour (Morning/Afternoon shifts) £13.58 per hour (Night shifts) Contract: Temp to Perm Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts (Monday to Friday): 6:00am - 2:00pm 2:00pm - 10:00pm 10:00pm - 6:00am ⚠️ Candidates must be able to work all three rotating shifts.Key Responsibilities Preparing and joining steel strip coils for continuous production Operating the floop (accumulator) system to maintain smooth material flow Using welding or shear equipment to join steel strip ends Monitoring production processes to ensure quality and efficiency Inspecting welds and materials to meet required standards Recording production data and reporting any issues Working closely with team members to minimise downtimeRequirements Previous experience within Steel industry (essential) Experience with overhead cranes (essential) Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work effectively within a team Good understanding of health & safety practices Flexible, reliable, and willing to work rotating shifts Basic computer skillsWhat We're Looking For A proactive and adaptable individual Strong problem-solving skills Good communication and teamwork abilities Someone with a positive attitude and willingness to learnWhy Apply?
