Apply NowIMH Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative with a Counterbalance Forklift Licence to join our client’s team in Wath, Rotherham.
The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience and be confident operating a Counterbalance Forklift as part of their day-to-day duties. The role involves a variety of warehouse and materials handling tasks, ensuring efficient operations whilst maintaining high standards of safety and organisation.
Duties
* Loading and unloading materials using a Counterbalance Forklift.
* Driving the forklift from unit to unit
* Operating the Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse and yard.
* Moving and positioning materials and stock as required.
* Using a handheld scanner to accurately record stock and orders.
* Engaging in materials handling tasks, including preparing orders accurately for dispatch.
* Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
* Performing heavy lifting as required.
* Following all health and safety procedures and ensuring safe working practices at all times.
* Carrying out other warehouse duties as requested.
Skills & Experience
* Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence is essential.
* Valid Driving Licence
* Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift within a warehouse or industrial environment.
* Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable.
* Confident and competent in operating a forklift safely.
* Ability to perform materials handling tasks efficiently.
Hours & Pay
* Monday – Friday
* Rotating Days/Afters: 06:00–14:30 / 14:00–22:30
* Pay Rate : £14.00 per hour
* Pay increase following successful completion of the probation period.
