FM Mechanical Engineer
Job Title: Mechanical Engineer (Building Services) Location: Westminster, London Salary: Up to £46,000 per annum + Overtime Opportunities Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week Shift Rota: * 06:00 – 14:00 * 14:00 – 22:00 Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established building services team based in Westminster, London. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for long-term stability, significant overtime potential, and strong career progression within a professional facilities environment. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical building services systems. * Maintain and service plant including HVAC systems, pumps, motors, valves, pipework, and associated mechanical equipment. * Diagnose faults and perform repairs in a timely and efficient manner. * Support plant operation and ensure systems operate safely and efficiently. * Ensure all works comply with relevant health & safety regulations and site procedures. * Complete maintenance reports and documentation accurately. * Work collaboratively with other engineers and site teams to maintain high service standards. Requirements * Minimum 5 years’ experience working within building services or facilities maintenance. * Strong knowledge of mechanical plant and building services systems. * Experience working in commercial or high-profile buildings preferred. * Relevant mechanical qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent) desirable. * Ability to work within a shift rota and support additional overtime when required. * Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to maintenance.
