Food Production Operative
Whether you want full-time hours with plenty of overtime, an evening shift that works around your day, or part-time hours during the school run, our client has something that fits. All shifts are Monday to Friday with no weekend working, and no previous experience is needed as full training is provided.
What's on offer?
Temporary to permanent opportunity
Paid weekly at £12.75 per hour
Overtime paid at 1.5X after 40 hours - £19.13 per hour
Monday to Friday with shifts available across day, back and part-time:
Day: 6am to 2:30pm OR 6:45am to 3:15pm
Back: 2:30pm to 10:30pm OR 3pm to 11:30pm (with both breaks paid)
Part-time: 9am to 2:30pm OR 5/6pm to midnight
Full training provided and on-site canteenAs a Food Production Operative, your duties will include:
Slicing, building boards and packing open product in a chilled environment
Checking seals for quality and packing finished product into cases for dispatch
Maintaining hygiene and food safety standards throughout the shiftTo be considered as a Food Production Operative, you will need:
No previous experience is necessary as full on-site training is provided
Comfortable working in a chilled environment and standing for the length of your shift
A level of physical fitness as the role involves lifting and repetitive movement
