Food Production Operative
Pay £13.00ph increasing to £13.18ph after 4 weeks.
Working Hours: Sunday - Thursday 6am - 3:30pm
Must be available to work 6 days per week and weekends over busier periods.
Overtime available.
Duties
Operate and monitor various food production machinery, ensuring smooth and efficient operation
Follow strict HACCP protocols and food safety guidelines at all times
Assist in preparing ingredients and assembling products according to specified recipes and standards
Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to ensure product consistency and compliance with safety standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area in accordance with health and safety regulations
Record production data accurately, including quantities produced and any issues encountered
Assist with stock control, including receiving, storing, and issuing ingredients or packaging materials
Report any mechanical faults or safety concerns to supervisors promptly

Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations is essential
Experience in food production or manufacturing environments is desirable but not mandatory; full training will be provided
Basic mathematical skills for measuring ingredients, calculating quantities, and recording data accurately

Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy environment
Good organisational skills with the ability to follow procedures precisely
