Food Production Operative (Ambient Environment) Location: Near Takeley Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.00am - 3.00pm Type: Temporary to Permanent Start Date: Immediate starts available About the Role We're looking for reliable Food Production Operatives to join a growing food manufacturing site that prepares meat‑based products for major retailers. You'll be working in an ambient‑temperature production area, carrying out a mix of packing, line work, and general production duties. This role offers consistent daytime hours, long‑term stability, and a genuine opportunity to secure a permanent position. Key responsibilities Work on a busy production line handling various food products Pack, sort and label items to required standards Carry out simple quality checks Assist with loading and unloading materials Follow food hygiene and safety procedures at all times Keep your workstation clean and organised Perform light to moderate lifting during the shift What We're Looking For A reliable, positive, hands‑on worker Comfortable working on your feet and at a steady pace Good attention to detail Previous production or warehouse experience is helpful but not essential Own transport is highly advantageous due to the rural location Ideal nearby areas include: Hatfield Broad Oak Great Dunmow Great Canfield Hatfield Heath White Roding Braintree Bishop's Stortford StanstedThere is also a bus route from Bishop's Stortford.
