D7 are working in partnership with one of the UK’s leading Environmental Health consultancies to strengthen their nationwide auditing team with the appointment of Food Safety & HSE Consultants across the UK. We have open roles in Bristol/Exeter, Lincolnshire, East Midlands and Greater London.

This is an opportunity to join a highly respected organisation working with a diverse portfolio of clients including schools, universities, NHS facilities, and leading names in the catering and hospitality sectors, supporting compliance across environmental health and health & safety management frameworks.

We are seeking Food Safety & HSE Consultants to deliver pre-scheduled audits and provide clear, practical guidance based on findings and best practice. You will join a well-established nationwide team, working in a flexible home-based role with regular regional site visits.

This position combines technical expertise with strong client service, requiring accurate, high-quality audit reporting and a professional approach to client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver Environmental Health & Safety audits across a range of client sites within your region

* Produce accurate, high-quality audit reports within agreed timescales

* Collaborate with the scheduling team to ensure efficient planning and delivery of audits

* Meet quality standards

* Provide clear, professional client feedback, including compliance insights and practical remediation guidance

* Uphold exceptional customer service standards across all client interactions

What We’re Looking For

* BSc (Hons) in Environmental Health (CIEH or REHIS accredited qualification required)

* Level 4 Safety Qualification or Higher (NEBOSH General Certificate for example)

* Strong understanding of Environmental Health, Food Safety, and HSE compliance frameworks

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Strong attention to detail with excellent report writing ability

* Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

* Confident IT skills and ability to work with reporting systems

* Willingness to undergo DBS and/or security clearance checks
