About the Role
Grade A Recruitment is working in partnership with a successful mainstream secondary school in Peterborough to recruit a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and motivate students while delivering high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons that inspire a love of learning.
* Support students in developing both practical and theoretical knowledge in food preparation and nutrition.
* Prepare students for GCSE exams, ensuring strong progress and excellent outcomes.
* Create a safe, stimulating classroom environment that promotes creativity and resilience.
* Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to a supportive and successful department.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Be a qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent).
* Have experience teaching Food Technology across KS3–KS4.
* Hold relevant Food Safety and Hygiene certificates.
* Be passionate about teaching and able to deliver innovative, practical lessons.
* Have high expectations for student achievement and behaviour.
* Be a team player with excellent communication skills.
