Responsibilities

* Oversee daily factory production and ensure efficient workflow

* Allocate labour effectively across fabrication tasks and projects

* Maintain high standards of quality control, checking dimensions and finished work

* Supervise and support workshop staff, ensuring productivity and safety compliance

* Interpret technical drawings and ensure accurate execution on the shop floor

* Carry out hands-on fabrication work including marking out, cutting, drilling, and welding

* Monitor project timelines and ensure deadlines are consistently met

* Identify and resolve production issues quickly and effectively

Requirements

* Proven experience in a factory foreman or supervisory role within the steel fabrication industry

* Strong hands-on skills in welding and fabrication

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately

* Competence in marking out, cutting, drilling, and assembling steel components

* Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and precision

* Strong leadership and communication skills

* Ability to work under pressure in a busy manufacturing environment

* Solid understanding of health and safety practices in a workshop setting
