Forklift Battery Engineer (Material Handling)
Responsibilities
Servicing the company’s client base across Scotland
Repairing and maintaining the company’s broad range of batteries used within the Material Handling industry
Working alongside the other field based engineers across the Scotland to ensure maintenance is carried out efficiently
Reporting back to the Service Manager with regular updates
Representing the company in the right way on customer sites and always maintaining customer serviceRequirements
This role would suit an experienced battery engineer that has previously spent time working in the field, but this is not essential. The company would also be interested in speaking with candidates who have an electrical SVQ Level 3 or equivalent whilst having strong interpersonal skills. In terms of location, you will ideally be based across the central belt of Scotland but candidates further afield will be considered.

Competitive basic salary up to £32.5k (depending on experience)

Overtime paid at time ½ Monday to Saturday, double time on Sunday
