Forklift Driver

We are seeking a Forklift Driver to join a Tier 1 residential construction project. The role requires a valid CPCS or NPORS forklift licence. For the first month, the role will involve a mix of forklift driving and general labouring duties, before transitioning into a forklift-only position.

Key Responsibilities:

Initial period (approx. 1 month):

Combination of forklift operation and general labouring duties
Assisting with unloading and distributing materials across site
Site housekeeping and keeping work areas safe and tidy
Supporting trades and site teams as required
Manual handling and general site support
Ongoing (after initial period):

Safe and efficient operation of forklift in line with site procedures
Movement, loading, and unloading of materials around a busy residential site
Supporting site logistics and ensuring materials are delivered to the correct locations
Daily checks of plant and reporting any defects

Requirements:

Valid CPCS or NPORS forklift licence (essential)
Previous construction site experience (residential preferred)
Good understanding of health & safety on site
Willingness to carry out mixed duties initially
Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented approach
