Contract: Temp to Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week
About the Role
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Warehouse Operative to join a fast-paced and demanding distribution environment in B70. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and reliable individual looking to secure a long-term position within a growing operation.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the warehouse, from goods receipt through to dispatch, while maintaining high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Receiving and checking supplier deliveries for accuracy, quality, and condition
* Safely unloading and loading vehicles using an FLT
* Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders to a high standard
* Ensuring all goods are stored correctly and stock levels are accurately maintained
* Completing and managing all warehouse documentation efficiently
* Liaising with suppliers, couriers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries
* Checking orders prior to dispatch to ensure accuracy and completeness
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
* Supporting stock control processes, including periodic stock counts
* Ensuring all work complies with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures
* Following ISO9001:2015 standards, SOPs, and internal processes

* Valid FLT licence
* Good working knowledge of MS Office
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Good numeracy and communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
