Temp to perm opportunity Favourable day shifts Overtime availability We are seeking Multi-skilled Production Operatives for a busy metal processing plant in Tamworth. This would be an excellent opportunity to join a leading recycling business with a presence in four continents. As such, they are keen to make a long-term investment into new staff members who are looking to secure a career in the metallics industry. Main responsibilities for our FLT role include: Strip parts down with use of hand tools Sorting parts into separate categories by hand Use of Forklift truck to move the granulated products around the shop floor Working in a sampler station to help identify the concentration of precious metals in each component (e.g. platinum/radium) Picking using a computerised inventory system. General Dispatch paperwork Although you will likely be assigned a core area, it would be the company's vision to offer cross-training in multiple areas to maximise your knowledge.  Workwear will be provided, it may be worth noting that you will be required to wear a full protective mask & visor to help provide proper ventilation.
