FP&A Analyst

FP&A Analyst 📍 Cardiff (on-site, Monday–Friday) 💰 Up to £31,500 I’m working with a well-established, fast-paced business in Cardiff who are looking to appoint an FP&A Analyst to join their finance team. This is a key role supporting both operational and commercial performance, giving great exposure across different areas of the business. It would suit someone who enjoys working with data, spotting trends, and playing a part in shaping financial decisions. The role: Reporting on daily sales and margin performance Supporting the preparation of weekly trading reports and presentations Producing budgets, forecasts and latest views, ensuring a high level of accuracy Analysing P&L performance and key KPIs across multiple areas of the business Producing monthly reporting packs for senior stakeholders Supporting quarterly reviews and wider business reporting Reviewing and analysing month-end costs Interpreting financial data and presenting insights in a clear, concise way What they’re looking for: Experience working within a finance team (ideally within management accounts or a similar environment) Confidence working with high volumes of data and financial information Strong Excel skills Studying towards, or interested in studying, a professional qualification (CIMA / ACCA) Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both finance and non-finance stakeholders A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within FP&A and gain exposure in a commercially focused environment
