We are looking for an experienced FRA Carpenter to lead a high-volume fire safety project. This is a specialist role requiring precision and a deep understanding of fire safety compliance—generic internal door-hanging experience will not be sufficient for this position. Mandatory Requirements * Composite Experience: You MUST have previous experience specifically hanging composite fire doors. * PFP/FRA Background: A solid background in Passive Fire Protection (PFP) and Fire Risk Actions (FRA). * Technical Skill: Ability to work to strict manufacturer data sheets and British Standards (e.g., maintaining 2-4mm perimeter gaps and correct intumescent seal placement). * Tools & Transport: You must have your own car/van and full set of tools. Key Responsibilities * Full installation of new composite fire door sets. * Ensuring all installations meet FD30/FD60 standards and are fully compliant for audit. * Fitting and adjusting fire-rated ironmongery, closers, and intumescent strips. Qualifications (Preferred) * CSCS Card (Blue Skilled Worker preferred). * NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery. * Asbestos Awareness certification
