Freelance Quantity Surveyor

We are currently working with a leading developer looking for a Freelance Quantity Surveyor to support with package management and final accounts on a 1,000 Unit New Build Residential scheme in SE London. * Oversee package procurement from tender through to final account * Manage subcontractor valuations, variations and cost reporting * Lead on final accounts and commercial close-out of multiple work packages * Monitor project budgets and provide accurate financial forecasting * Identify and mitigate commercial risks across the scheme * Work closely with project managers, site teams and senior commercial staff * Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and developer procedures * Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives * Prepare and present detailed cost reports to internal stakeholders Requirements: * Proven experience working on large-scale residential developments * Strong background in package management and final accounts * Developer or main contractor experience preferred * Ability to manage multiple packages concurrently * Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills * Strong knowledge of JCT contracts * Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent Candidates must be happy be paid via an Umbrella company INSIDE IR35
