Freelance Quantity Surveyor – Industrial Project 📍 Leicester | 💼 Main Contractor | 💷 Outside IR35 We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join a main contractor delivering a large industrial / logistics development in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile scheme and play a key role within the commercial team on a fast-paced project. Role Overview * Commercial management of a large new-build industrial unit * Working closely with the Commercial Lead and site team * Managing subcontractor procurement and package management * Valuations, variations, and cost reporting * Supporting monthly CVRs and financial reporting * Ensuring commercial performance and project profitability Requirements * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor * Previous experience on industrial / logistics / warehouse projects preferred * Strong knowledge of subcontract procurement and package management * Ability to manage subcontractor accounts through to final account * Strong commercial awareness and reporting capability Contract Details * Freelance role * Outside IR35 * Long-term opportunity on a major industrial development * Leicester location This role would suit a hands-on QS who is comfortable working closely with the delivery team on site and managing packages on a large construction project. 📩 If you’re interested or would like further details, please get in touch with Heather Duncan
