Apply NowWe are currently working with a leading main contractor delivering a RC Frame residential new build project comprising of 1100 units looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work alongside a Commercial Manager. The scheme is at the early stages with project completion due 2028.
Key Responsibilities
* Commercial management of the project from site through to final account.
* Procurement and management of subcontract packages.
* Preparation and submission of valuations, variations, and payment applications.
* Cost reporting, forecasting, and budget control.
* Management of subcontractor accounts and payments.
* Identification and management of commercial risks and opportunities.
* Close collaboration with the project team to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
* Attendance at client and project meetings.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on major construction residential projects
* Strong knowledge of JCT contracts.
* Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative project team.
* Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline preferred.

* Rate: Competitive daily rate (DOE) Outside IR35
